MPs' staffing – Senior Parliamentary Assistants

I would like to make the following Freedom of Information requests:

1) How many Senior Parliamentary Assistants outside London are there?

2) How many of those are earning £45k or above?

Response

I can confirm that as at 11 April 2023, there were 80 non-London Senior Parliamentary Assistants. Please note this figure excludes staff who have a dual function (eg “Senior Parliamentary Assistant and Office Manager”).

Of these 80 staff, 19 earned 45k or above. Please note that this figure uses the full-time equivalent salary for any staff who are part-time.
