• The number of staff currently employed by the organisation that are contractual home workers.

  • At the time of our response, there are currently 30 people working on home working contracts.

• The number of contractual home workers employed by the organisation in each of the last three financial years: 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22.

  • The numbers of staff on home working contracts are:

    • 2020/21 - 4

    • 2021/22 - 26

The sad and difficult times brought about by the pandemic also presented IPSA with an opportunity to bring forward our plans to create a more representative national organisation which better reflects the four nations, regions and constituencies our MPs serve.

Recruiting staff from across the UK without the necessity of living within commuting distance of central London, has delivered a more inclusive and diverse workforce, well-positioned to deliver services locally without the need for lengthy travel from London.
