Request

Under the Freedom of Interest Act, please provide the names of all 2020/21/22 UK MPs who have attended a WEF Young Global Leaders program since its inception.

Also, please inform if they were government-sponsored to attend this course.

Response

I can confirm that we do not hold information relevant to your request.

IPSA was established in 2009 by the Parliamentary Standards Act.

The legislation gave us three main responsibilities:

  • to regulate MPs' staffing and business costs

  • to determine MPs' pay and pension arrangements

  • to provide financial support to MPs in carrying out their parliamentary functions.

IPSA only holds information about staffing and business costs incurred during the course of an MP’s parliamentary activities.

Find out more about IPSA.

Information on MPs' staffing and business costs is published in Annual budgets, costs and claims.
