Claims for newspapers and journals by Chris Grayling MP

Request

I'm applying under the Freedom of Information act to get additional information on Chris Grayling MP's 2018 to 2019 expenses.

For costs listed under Newspapers/Journals please could you identify what each one publication purchased was and how many copies were purchased? For example: 21 Nov 2018 an 'office cost' for £29 is listed under 'Newspapers/Journals'. Please could you say what publication was purchased and how many copies were purchased?

If the IPSA doesn't hold this information, please could you direct me to an organisation that does hold this information and would be able to help with the FOI?

Response

IPSA holds the information that you request.

Under the Scheme of MPs’ Business Costs and Expenses (‘the Scheme’), office costs can be claimed to cover the cost of running MPs’ constituency offices. This includes subscriptions to relevant publications in support of the MP’s parliamentary work.

Please find attached, the information that you have requested.

This concludes our response to your request.
