By way of background, evidence submitted in support of reimbursement or payment card claims are scanned into IPSA’s systems upon receipt. The figures in the table below relate to the total number of pages of documents received as evidence by IPSA. These figures have been extracted from our systems software.

We are unable to provide you with a further break down of the figures as to do so would require us to access each individual MP’s account, and undertake a manual count of the number of pages of documents scanned into each account.
We estimate that the cost of locating, retrieving and extracting this information would take us over the appropriate cost limit of £450 (part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Freedom of Information Act). Consequently, in accordance with section 12(1) FOIA, IPSA is unable to provide you with the requested information.
