Details of appointments to IPSA's Board

Request

Paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 to the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009 provides (subject to addresses being presented by the House of Commons) for Her Majesty to appoint the members of the IPSA Board.

I am therefore writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request copies of the Royal Warrants (or other instruments) appointing the current board of the IPSA.

IPSA does not hold the information you have requested as the organisation does not have a role in the appointment of Board Members. As you rightly say in your request it is Her Majesty who makes the appointment, or rather Her Majesty’s Government who take a vote in the House of Commons whether or not to appoint either individual who is proposed as a member of the IPSA Board.
