I understand that as part of IPSA’s assurance review, it scrutinised examples of materials produced by each of the pooled staffing services, including the European Research Group.

In light of this, I would like to request all materials produced by the European Research group that was scrutinised by IPSA as part of its assurance review.

I would like to receive this information in an electronic format. The information requested relates to the European Research Group's materials which were reviewed by IPSA as part of its 2016/17 assurance review of Pooled Services for MPs. The original assurance review report can be found here.

IPSA withheld the requested information in accordance with section 36(2)(c) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Information Commissioner upheld that decision.

However, on the 23 May 2019, the Information Tribunal in the case of Corderoy v The Information Commissioner overturned the original decision to withhold the requested information.
