Number of MPs signed up to payroll giving in July 2015

Following my previous FOI request in Feb 2015, which I had a relevant response for, could I please make a further Freedom of Information request to ask how many of the UK Parliament’s MP’s are signed up to support a charity from pay, via a Payroll Giving/ Give As You Earn scheme  (pre-or post tax).

IPSA holds the information that you request.

As of 22 July 2015, there are seven Members of Parliament who are signed up to make a donation to charity in July’s payroll via the Give As You Earn scheme. This figure does not include any MPs who have enquired about, or will begin donations starting from August.

There are, of course, many different ways of donating to charity and the information held by IPSA does not necessarily reflect the total number of MPs who donate to charity.
