MPs pay during periods of sickness absence

The rules regarding payment of an MP’s salary if he or she has a lengthy period of sickness, therefore unable to perform Parliamentary or constituency work/roles.

IPSA is responsible for the setting of MP’s pay levels and the payment of MPs’ salaries.
