Response
IPSA does not hold the information that you request. The employment status of MPs is determined by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), who provide guidance on the payment of statutory sick pay, which can be found by visiting the following link to the HMRC’s website: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/e14.pdf. IPSA is responsible for the setting of MP’s pay levels and the payment of MPs’ salaries.
