Scott Woolveridge's hotel expenses in 2010

Request

Your request relates to Scott Woolveridge’s hotel expense claims for the period 2010-2011. (Information on all expense claims submitted by the Board and Senior Leadership Team ).

You specifically requested:‘__Was he absent from the permanent office? Where was he and why?’

Response

As stated in the Remuneration Report, contained within IPSA’s Annual Report and Accounts 2010-2011, the hotel expenses paid relate to “short-term relocation expenses covering hotel accommodation to allow Mr Woolveridge to take up the post immediately”.

Mr Woolveridge’s family home is based in Nottinghamshire and thus a daily commute was not practical or possible while he was seeking accommodation within a reasonable distance of central London.
