MPs' salaries

IPSA does not hold information (emails, reports or otherwise) which considers the level at which MPs’ pay should be set. As you note in your email, IPSA has only recently been given the powers to set MPs’ salaries. As these powers did not previously form part of IPSA’s remit, IPSA has not at any level considered the appropriate level of MPs’ pay. To have done so would have been to pre-judge the outcome of any review on this matter.
