Mice in the House of Commons

Request

Would you please supply me with any information IPSA holds with regard to mice being present in the House of Commons? This includes any communication on this matter, whether hard copy letters, emails, or written recordings of oral conversations.

Response

I can advise you that IPSA has conducted a search of the words ‘mouse’ and ‘mice’ in its central mailbox, info@parliamentarystandards.org.uk. This is the mailbox for all incoming correspondence from MPs, their staff and members of the public. We have further conducted a search of file notes on our case management system to see if any records about mice have been made. I can confirm that IPSA found no references to a mouse or mice at the House of Commons in this search. We have assumed the type of mouse you are referring to is the rodent form, and not an electronic computer mouse.
