Sir Robert Owen has directed my attention to the factual report of the Director of Regulation at item 6 of the IPSA Board meeting on 20 January 2016, which "provided background information and some initial findings on the (then) current arrangements in place for the additional pay for Chairs of Specified Committees." Please provide a copy of this report.

IPSA holds the information that you have requested.

Between March and May 2016, IPSA ran a public consultation on the additional salaries paid to Chairs of Select Committees and to Members of the Panel of Chairs. Prior, to the public consultation, IPSA’s Board considered background information and some initial findings on the previous arrangements for Committee Chairs’ Pay.

The paper that you have requested was presented by IPSA’s Director of Regulation at item 6 of the IPSA Board meeting on 20 January 2016. Minutes of that meeting, and all other Board meetings, can be found on our website via this link.
