MPs who own property and information relating to the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill

Request

  1. Send me a list of all those multiple property owning MPs and Lords who have participated in debate and voted upon the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill to date.

  2. Send me a list of all those multiple property owning MPs and Lords who have participated in debate and voted upon the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill to date who failed to declare that interest in non-compliance with Parliamentary Codes of Conduct.

  3. Advise me what you intend to do about a)disqualifying votes and outcomes to date and hereafter by those who have breached/breach the House of Commons and House of Lords Codes of Conduct in this way and b) adjusting the records and outcomes accordingly.

  4. Advise me how you intend to ensure the passage or non-passage of the Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill lies within the rules of proper conduct and propriety and in accord with the Parliamentary Codes of Conduct in its remaining stages of Parliamentary deliberation and amendment wherever that may lead.

In response to questions 1 and 2, I can advise that IPSA does not hold the requested information. In relation to question 3 IPSA does not have a role in this regard. I refer you to our remit detailed in the IPSA Annual Report 2009/2010 and published on the website. For your convenience I have attached a copy of the Annual Report 2009/2010.
