Reimbursement of travel expenses for candidates applying to work for IPSA

During the implementation stage of IPSA travel expenses were paid to some of the candidates that applied for the Chair and Board member positions. This has not been continued.
It is IPSA’s policy that travel expenses of candidates coming to interview are not paid, except in exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances are triggered when the candidate has incurred expenses due to IPSA’s action, for instance if the interviews are cancelled at very short notice.
Please find attached a document containing details of the travel expenses for the candidates applying for the Chair and Board member positions during the implementation of IPSA. The only expense paid by IPSA since it became fully operational is as follows:
Item 1: Head of Assurance and Review, 1 candidate. Reason: Interview cancelled at short notice by IPSA - £60.63
