Consultation on IPSA's Strategy 2018-22
We have launched a public consultation on IPSA’s draft strategy for 2018 - 2022 [PDF].
This is the first time we have invited comments on a draft version of our strategy, so we can take account of our stakeholders’ views. Click here to take part in the public consultation.
IPSA has established itself as an effective regulator and administrator of MPs’ pay and business costs. We have worked to assure the public that MPs’ use of taxpayers’ money is well regulated and to resource and support MPs appropriately to carry out their parliamentary functions. We will continue to do so.
In our third Parliament, we propose to focus on five strategic priorities. We want first to create a strong and supportive regulatory environment, and second to ensure we manage data and information effectively. We are committed, third, to transparency and public engagement, as well as, fourth, to working in partnership with MPs, the House of Commons and others. Fifth, we wish to be an outstanding employer too. These priorities will be underpinned by new corporate values to inform our work: professionalism, respect, integrity, collaboration and improvement.
The consultation will run until 28 February, after which IPSA’s Board will agree and publish a final IPSA Strategy to start in April 2018.
