The Scheme of MPs’ Staffing and Business Costs sets out the rules and principles within which MPs’ must operate when making claims for the reimbursement of business costs. You can find out more and view a copy of the Scheme here.

At the start of the lockdown in March 2020, IPSA made the decision to provide MPs with an additional £10k in their office costs budget for 2020-21; they could also claim additional funding for staff.

In 2021-22 further additional funding for staff was made available.
