IPSA is independent of Parliament and the Government. This allows us to take decisions about the rules on business costs and expenses and on MPs’ pay ourselves, without interference.
Our aim is to assure the public that MPs’ use of taxpayers’ money is well regulated and that MPs are resourced appropriately to carry out their parliamentary duties. Our people are our greatest asset in the pursuit of this aim, and we are passionate about finding the right people.
Regulating and supporting 650 MPs and their 3,000 plus staff is a real challenge and people who work here need the drive, passion, resilience and relevant skills to make our work a success.
You will need to demonstrate excellent judgment and you will have the skills to influence those around you and a willingness to develop your understanding of the IPSA regulatory scheme.
